Are you thinking of betting on Liverpool matching Arsenal’s invincible season from 2003/4? The odds on this happening are quite long, as it would be a remarkable achievement to avoid defeat during the entire season.

The game that most people are betting on the run ending is against Man City at the start of April. Pepe Guardiola’s team beat them 2-1 and drew 0-0 with them last season. This season, Klopp’s men won the first encounter 3-1.

It seems unlikely that Liverpool have an invincible season. They currently look as though they will win the league early, meaning that they may well ease up while other teams are still battling for European spots and to avoid relegation.

This isn’t a tempting bet at all.
